The current lockdown situation is going to affect our lifestyle immensely. Employees are working from their homes, students are taking online classes. In this “stay at home” situation there are 70% chances that people will gain more weight. We have got you covered! We will tell you how to lose weight in lockdown through a simple diet plan. It’s an easy and healthy diet plan for everyone so they can easily lose weight or even maintain their perfect body shape while staying at home.
Usually people take 3 meals per day: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, while in Pakistan, we sometimes like to add a lighter brunch after breakfast and add tea in the evening with some snacks too.
Diet Calories
A healthy adult body needs 2000 calories per day and the diet plan we’ll introduce to you today, contains calories less than 2000 kcal.
Breakfast
For breakfast you will need:
- 2 boiled eggs, whites only.
Use boiled whites only, do not use egg yolk because egg yolk is responsible for weight gain.
- 2 slices of brown bread.
Brown bread is full of energy and keeps you full for a long time. It will help you lose weight unlike other breads.
- 1 cup of green tea.
Morning without tea is incomplete. Use green tea with added flavor according to your choice.
After Two Hours
Take a palm sized food, it can be any food but we suggest you to eat an apple because apples have many health benefits plus it will keep you full.
Lunch
For lunch, take a normal sized plate. Take curry, equal to a quarter part of the plate and half a roti or bread. Now fill the remaining half plate with salad.
Evening
In the evenings, take 1 cup of green tea and after half an hour take any fruit but make sure you eat only one.
Walk or Cardio
For best results a person must have to walk for at least 30 minute a week or do 30 mins cardio 5 days a week. To do this in isolation, run around your room about 15-30 times each day. This will give you best results and will tone your muscles.
Dinner
Dinner can be the same as lunch as described above but after dinner you must have 1 cup of green tea before sleeping.
Water
For boosting your metabolism and good results after 20 days, you must take at least 8 to 10 glasses of water each day.
Please Note: Do not take the following items during your diet.
- Milk tea.
- Energy drinks.
- No sugar or any dessert.
- No junk or fast food.
- Rice
- Chocolate
- Potatoes
